Serrano

Chilli Pepper Media has had our own custom built CMS for nearly 10 years. In 2010 we rebuilt it from the ground up and called it Serrano, to ensure we had a platform that virtually any web site could be built from. However its main purpose is to provide small business a self managed web site solution.

Serrano has been built in a user friendly format that is familiar to anyone who uses a computer regularly. It's simple interface is designed in a desktop style format. The CMS provides functionality to:

Smart Phone Development

iGetAbout on iPhone

In December 2010 Chilli Pepper Media released iGetAbout, an aplication for the travel industry developed for iPhone/iPad and Android devices.

Since being released iGetAbout has been featured and remains in the Staff Favourites on the Apple App Store and it has maintained a top five listing of "What's Hot" for the travel category of the App store. This represents the quality of the application, the attention to detail of the application functionality, research into the market and delivering an application to fill a niche. iGetAbout remains a one-of-a-kind application and receives a high volume of downloads on both the Apple App Store and on the Android market as a result.

Chilli Pepper Media has also developed the Cineplex iPhone application and will soon release the same application for Android devices.

In March 2011 Chilli Pepper Media became a Windows Phone 7 (WP7) developer and has begun work on a WP7 version of iGetAbout.

Small Business Mentoring

Throughout 2010 and 2011 Chilli Pepper Media has been running the Small Business Online QLD program. This program is an Australian Government funded project as an initiative of AusIndustry.

We have been in charge of writing the content for the program, delivering face-to-face information sessions and webinars. In condcting this program we have helped numerous small businesses get an understaing of the concepts of online practices and how best to represent themselves online. As part of this program we are working with several industry bodies to help their stake holders get an understanding of conducting business online.
